Logical Unit Number Context: Storage Subsystems Acronym: LUN A LUN or Logical Unit Number is a SCSI protocol term for an end device, usually a tape or disk drive. The LUN identifies a unique device on a SCSI bus. The SCSI bus consists of a SCSI controller, cable and the devices that are attached to that cable. For 8-bit SCSI implementations, up to 8 devices can be present on the bus (one of which must be the controller itself) and for 16-bit implementations, up to 16 devices may be present. I/O requests from a host computer, or initiator specify a SCSI target and a logical unit attached to that SCSI target. The logical unit number (LUN) is used to identify each of the devices accessible through that target. Within a storage area network (SAN), the fibre channel protocol passes SCSI requests and so fibre channel provides for initiators (usually HBAs) and targets (usually storage ports) within the SAN. A fibre channel storage port target will have a number of LUNs assigned. Note that although the term LUN refers to the logical unit number, the term LUN is usually used to refer to the device itself rather than just the assigned number.

What does Uninsured Motorist Property Damage cover?

Each state has specific coverages and limits available, but Uninsured Motorist Property Damage coverage typically covers damage to the insured vehicle in an accident caused by a driver who has no insurance coverage. Each state has different limiations to determine the limits. Comprehensive physical damage coverage – pays for damage to your car from theft, vandalism, flood, fire, and other covered perils. Bodily injury liability provides protection if you injure or kill someone while operating your car. It also provides for a legal defense if another party in the accident files a lawsuit against you. In the event of a serious accident, you want enough insurance to cover a judgment against you in a lawsuit, without jeopardizing your personal assets. Bodily injury liability covers injury to people, not your vehicle. Therefore it's a good idea to have the same level of coverage for all of your cars. Medical payments, no-fault or personal injury protection coverage usually pays for the medical expenses of the injured driver and passengers in your car. There may also be coverage if you are injured by a vehicle as a pedestrian. Uninsured motorists coverage pays for your injuries caused by an uninsured driver or, in some states, a hit-and-run driver, in a crash that is not your fault. In some states there is also uninsured motorist coverage for damage to your vehicle. Given the large number of uninsured motorists, this is very important coverage to have, even in states with no-fault insurance. Comprehensive physical damage coverage pays for losses resulting from incidents other than collision. For example, comprehensive insurance covers damage to your car if it is stolen; or damaged by flood, fire or animals. To keep your premiums low, select as high a deductible as you feel comfortable paying out of pocket. Collision coverage pays for damage to your car when your car hits, or is hit by, another vehicle or other object. To keep your premiums low, select as large a deductible as you feel comfortable paying out of pocket. For older cars, consider dropping this coverage, since coverage is normally limited to the cash value of your car. Property damage liability protects you if your car damages someone else's property. It also provides you with legal defense if another party files a lawsuit against you. It is a good idea to purchase enough of this insurance to cover the amount of damage your car might do to another vehicle or object. Rental reimbursement coverage pays for a rental vehicle (usually up to $25 a day) when the insured's vehicle is out of commission as a result of a loss covered under comprehensive or collision coverages.

往国内汇$30000。没有招商银行的帐号，所以想免费转是不太可能了。先是考虑用
western union (wu)，因为之前问过一个agency，他说肯定可以汇，费用是$26，而且
很快就能到帐，但是需要做一个phone interview。我想interview做就做吧，没想到做
起来极端麻烦，一整天也没搞定。不仅要提供三种ID，还要看bank statement，解释汇
款的原因，等等，最后还要他们的supervisor批准！只能用一个词形容：婆婆妈妈。更
可气的是，关于汇款的上限，问了三个agent，全是老印接线员，竟然得到三种不同的
答复！所以如果汇较大数额的钱，极度不推荐wu。
就在被wu搞得头大的时候，ld发现一张中国银行的长城卡，不过有三年都没用过了，也
不知道帐号。于是打电话给中行，查询帐号以及帐户的状态，被告知帐户正常。第二天
到附近的state credit union，跟financial manager说要做电汇。钱先到中行纽约分
行，算domestic wire transfer，费用$6，再由纽约分行转回国内，费用$10，共计$16
搞定。总共花了大概半个小时，钱36小时内到帐。
